Tour du Mont Blanc

The Tour du Mont Blanc circles the Mont Blanc massif, covering a distance of 170 kms with 10 kms of ascent/descent and passes through Switzerland, Italy and France. . The highest points on the trail are the Col des Fours in France and the FenĂȘtre d’Arpette in Switzerland, both at an altitude of 2,665 m .The route of the Tour du Mont Blanc is used for an annual ultramarathon event called the Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc. The winning time is usually around 20 hours ……… but we’ll be walking the trail over 10 days :-)
